2. Event Code of Conduct
Game Nations is committed to providing a professional, safe, and welcoming environment for all participants regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, age, religion, or nationality.
Expected Behavior
- Treat all participants, speakers, staff, and venue personnel with respect and professionalism
- Engage in constructive dialogue and intellectual exchange
- Respect the privacy and boundaries of fellow attendees
- Follow all venue rules and instructions from event staff
- Report any concerns promptly to event organizers
Unacceptable Behavior
- Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination of any kind
- Offensive verbal comments, including those related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, or religion
- Unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention
- Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following
- Disruption of sessions, presentations, or other event activities
- Unauthorized recording of private conversations or closed sessions
- Possession or use of illegal substances on event premises
Consequences
Participants asked to stop any unacceptable behavior are expected to comply immediately. Organizers may take any action deemed appropriate, including:
- A verbal warning
- Removal from the event without refund
- Prohibition from future Game Nations events
- Reporting to local law enforcement if warranted
Reporting
If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, please report it immediately to any member of the event staff or contact us directly. All reports will be handled with discretion and confidentiality.
4. Registration & Cancellation
Registration
Registration is confirmed upon receipt of full payment or written confirmation from event organizers. Spots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis unless otherwise stated.
Cancellation by Attendee
- 60+ days before the event: Full refund minus a processing fee
- 30-59 days before the event: 50% refund
- Less than 30 days before the event: No refund; registration may be transferred to another individual
Cancellation by Organizer
In the unlikely event that Game Nations must cancel or postpone an event due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, government restrictions, or force majeure), we will offer a full refund or transfer to a rescheduled date at the attendee's choice.
Substitution
You may transfer your registration to another qualified individual at no additional cost by notifying us at least 14 days before the event.
5. Liability & Assumption of Risk
By attending a Game Nations event, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- You attend the event voluntarily and at your own risk
- Game Nations, TMC Partners LLC, their officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any loss, injury, damage, or expense arising from your attendance
- You are responsible for your own belongings; the organizer is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged property
- You are responsible for obtaining any required travel documents, visas, vaccinations, or insurance
- Opinions expressed by speakers and panelists are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Game Nations or TMC Partners LLC
6. Intellectual Property
- All event content, branding, materials, and presentations are the intellectual property of their respective creators and/or Game Nations
- Attendees may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit event content without prior written consent
- Speaker presentations and workshop materials may not be shared publicly without the speaker's explicit permission
- The Game Nations name, logo, and associated marks are trademarks of TMC Partners LLC
